For the past few weeks, I’ve been deep in cinematic AI projects.

Instead of just sharing the final clips, I wanted to show the process behind them. The workflows. The friction. The moments where things finally clicked.

It’s been a few weeks.

Not because I disappeared, but because I stepped back intentionally.

The early phase was about momentum. Testing ideas. Posting fast. Learning in public. Short form made that possible.

But speed has limits.

I wanted to build instead of just publish.

So I went back to long-form.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been testing AI video and character tools in real projects. Not demos. Real comparisons. What holds up. What breaks. What actually works when you’re trying to tell a story.

A few recent videos came out of that process.

The first one breaks down my current go-to workflow, something that finally brought consistency to my AI videos.

What started as a simple concept ad slowly became a full workflow focused on consistency, speed, and creative control.

Nano Banana Pro was the first big unlock. Instead of generating images one by one, I was able to create full cinematic storyboards from a single prompt. That meant locking in characters, props, and visual continuity early, which completely changed how I plan stories before ever touching video.

Once those storyboards were in place, the focus moved to motion. Kling’s latest updates pushed things further than I expected, especially with its new editing controls. Being able to adjust lighting, environments, and scenes after generation made the footage feel far more flexible and usable.

The addition of native voice and sound inside Kling was another major step. It’s not perfect, but it removed entire steps from the process and made it possible to stay inside a single ecosystem longer, which saves time when you’re building narrative-driven projects.

What really mattered wasn’t any single feature, but how these tools started working together. From story ideation in ChatGPT or Gemini, music generation in Suno, visual planning with Nano Banana Pro, and cinematic motion in Kling, this process showed what’s possible when AI tools are used intentionally instead of just tested.

It wasn’t always smooth. There were plenty of moments where things broke or didn’t work as expected. But that friction was part of the value. This stretch of work marked a shift from experimenting with tools to actually building stories with them.

AI Dialogue Is Still Broken. Here’s What Finally Worked.

Over the past couple of weeks, I went deep on one specific problem that keeps killing AI video projects: dialogue.

That’s the direction I’m heading this year.

Not just showing tools or covering updates, but focusing on what I’m actually building. The projects themselves. The decisions behind them. The tradeoffs. The exact tools being used and why they’re being used there.
